Indoor air quality for human comfort and health benefits
- For the promotion and maintenance of physical, mental and social well-being of workers, good health, adaption to work and controlling risks are desirable. Occupational health is one of the prime reasons of providing safe and good working conditions in the industrial sector.
- Provision and maintenance of Improved Indoor Air Quality by means of forced mechanical air ventilation systems is essentially planned for the human comfort of shop floor workers and plant officers. A continuous supply of fresh air is ensured during the shift operations.
- Insulation is provided to the cladding and roof of Plant building for maintaining comfort temperature inside the plant especially during peak summer.
- Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) paint on structures are specified to control any health hazards to the workers exposed to emissions from paints.
- Workmen Breakout Spaces are planned for in-between relaxation breaks during the shift timings; also planned are facilities such as Gymnasium, Creche and First Aid for the well-being of industry personnals.
